PAYMENT & INSURANCE

Clear Information Before Care Begins

Payment and coverage arrangements can vary depending on the type of care and your individual situation.

We want you to understand the process and expected payment arrangements before care begins.

PAYING FOR CARE

Know What to Expect

Payment arrangements depend on the type of visit, the circumstances surrounding your care, and whether a health plan or another payer may be involved.

Our goal is to explain the process clearly so you know what information is needed and what to expect before treatment begins.

If you have questions about payment or coverage, please call before your appointment.

COVERAGE & PAYMENT PATHWAYS

Different Situations May Have Different Requirements

These are general scheduling and payment pathways. Specific participation, coverage, benefits, or authorization should not be assumed until verified.

ChiroHealthUSA & Self-Pay

Why We Participate in ChiroHealthUSA

Strategic maintains a regular practice fee schedule and participates in ChiroHealthUSA (CHUSA), a contracted discount medical plan. Eligible members may receive reduced fees on qualifying services through the program's established membership agreement.

ChiroHealthUSA is not health insurance. Members are responsible for paying for the services they receive. Membership eligibility, discounts, fees, and restrictions are governed by the CHUSA agreement. Learn about ChiroHealthUSA and review its program disclosures

Paying Directly for Your Spine Care?

You do not need chiropractic insurance benefits or a ChiroHealthUSA membership to schedule an evaluation. We welcome patients who prefer to pay directly for their care.

Before services are provided, our office can explain the applicable fees, any ChiroHealthUSA membership requirements or discounts, and what to expect financially. Ask us for a good faith estimate when applicable.

Strategic maintains one regular practice fee schedule. Eligible ChiroHealthUSA members may receive the contracted discount on qualifying services, subject to the program's terms. ChiroHealthUSA is a discount medical plan, not insurance.

Your evaluation and treatment recommendations are guided by your clinical needs, not your payment method. No predetermined treatment package is required.

Strategic is not currently in-network with routine commercial health insurance plans. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, we may provide an itemized superbill for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by your plan and is not guaranteed.

Medicare

Medicare visits require an individual scheduling and billing review. Please call before scheduling so our office can confirm whether we can accept your appointment and explain the arrangements that apply to your visit.

Auto Injury

If your visit is related to a motor vehicle collision, you may schedule online using the dedicated Auto Accident / Personal Injury visit. Additional claim or case information can be provided through the appropriate secure process after scheduling. Call us if you need help.

Personal Injury Protection (PIP) may help cover eligible accident-related medical expenses. In Texas, PIP may also cover certain lost income and other nonmedical costs. Medical Payments (MedPay) generally helps pay eligible medical expenses after a collision.

Coverage and remaining benefits depend on your policy and insurer. Previously submitted or pending claims may affect the available balance. Our office can help you understand what to ask your insurer and assist with verifying applicable benefits. Verification does not guarantee payment.

Workers’ Compensation

Some injured workers with Texas non-network workers’ compensation claims may choose an eligible treating doctor. We are not part of a certified workers’ compensation health care network. Please call before scheduling so we can review the claim’s network status, treating-doctor requirements, and any needed approvals. Eligibility and payment are not guaranteed.
